Ingredients

  • 1 pound, ripe apricots (6 or 7)
  • 3 tablespoons, apricot jam
  • 1/4 cup, half and half
  • 1/2 cup, slivered almonds - toasted
  • 1 tablespoon, granulated sugar or Epicurean Smoked Brown Sugar or Epicurean Whiskey Smoked Brown Sugar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut the apricots in half, and remove their pits
  3. Arrange the apricot halves cut side down in a gratin dish. Spoon the jam over the fruit and pour the half-and-half around the fruit. Sprinkle the almonds and sugar on top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
