Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon, Epicurean Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil                          
  • 1 1/2 quarts, broccoli - cut into medium florets
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons, melted butter

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Smear Epicurean Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil   inside a 2 quart, fireproof casserole big enough to hold broccoli in 1 or 2 layers
  3. Arrange broccoli in the baking dish and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, top with melted butter
  4. Lay a round of partially buttered parchment over the broccoli. Cover and heat on top of stove set at medium-high until broccoli begins to sizzle
  5. Remove from stove and place in middle level of preheated oven
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the florets are tender
